At Loving Hugs, Inc., our mission is to help bring comfort and aid to the children,
individuals and families affected by war, poverty or natural disasters
throughout the world.

DONATE STUFFED ANIMALS
We collect your donations of
stuffed animals (new or very ‘gently used’)- we call them “hugs”, to
send to children in war zones, orphanages, refugee and IDP (internally
displaced persons) camps, and medical/hospital facilities around the
world. We also send your donations of stuffed animals for emergencies
from natural disasters around the world, such as the 2009 flood in
Manila, Philippines, and the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, to bring some
comfort and hope to those children.

SEND DONATION FOR SKILL TRAINING
We help to support women to learn sewing
skills whereby they can earn a living upon graduation, to help support
themselves and their own young children. Read about our program in
Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Africa where local women,
mostly single mothers, learn to make and deliver (with some food)
stuffed animals to children in orphanages, hospitals and medical
facilities in the Congo, as well as garments and other sewn goods needed
by area businesses.
